Product Description

CatLax is a palatable paste used as a laxative in cats. It also helps to prevent the build up of ingested hair and hence hairballs in cats. It can be given orally or smeared on the cat’s paw for ingestion via grooming. 

Properties

Palatable paste containing white soft paraffin (31.1g), beeswax yellow (2.1g), malt syrup, lecithin, cod liver oil, caramel and biotin.

Cat-Lax provides a laxative effect from a combination of soft white paraffin (a lubricant), cod liver oil (a laxative) and lecithin (an antioxidant that increases intestinal absorption).

Dosage

Can be given orally or a small amount placed on a paw:

• For hairball prevention: 2-3 times per week
• For hairball removal: once daily
