Pyohex Lotion helps treat and prevent the recurrence of superficial dermatitis associated with Staphylococcus intermedius infections in dogs. It is intended for use after washing with an antibacterial shampoo, such as Pyohex Medicated Foam.

Pyohex Medicated Shampoo features an antibacterial formula that effectively treats superficial bacterial infections. It cleanses the skin while reducing bacterial levels linked to skin conditions.

Signs of these skin infections may include red patches on the skin, often with pimple-like pustules, or reddish areas with crusty edges and hair loss. Dogs may be very itchy and scratch frequently. Its crucial to manage this infection promptly, as it can worsen without treatment. In severe cases, a veterinary visit may be necessary for antibiotic treatment.

Directions for Use:

Wash the Dog: Use either Pyohex Medicated Shampoo or Malaseb Medicated Shampoo to cleanse the dogs coat.

Rinse: Rinse the coat thoroughly and towel dry.

Apply Conditioner: Dispense a small amount of Pyohex Medicated Conditioner into your hands, then gently massage it into the dog’s coat, ensuring even coverage. Do not rinse off.

Dosage: Use approximately 1 mL of conditioner per kilogram of the dog’s weight.

Application Areas: Pyohex Medicated Conditioner can be applied to both haired and non-haired skin areas.

By: Karen Hogan on 19 October 2015Our Bullmastiff has a auto-immune issue where under his paws and other places under his body breaks out into open wounds making it very painful for him to walk, this lotion put on after washing him with the Pyohex 500ml wash keeps it under control in most circumstances. It is such a blessings to be able to purchase the 200ml tube and The Vet Shed prices are so reasonable compared to vets, pets shops or produce stores where they only sell 100ml tubes and a lot more expensive.
