Royal Canin Vet Care Canine Dental Small Breed Dry Dog Food

Prescribed by veterinarians for the nutritional management of small breed adult dogs (1-10kg) withdental concerns or oral sensitivity

• Unique kibble design  the size, shape and texture of the kibbleproduces a mechanical brushing effect on teeth while chewing, which helps to remove plaque and tartar
• Sodium polyphosphate effectively catches calcium in the saliva, thus reducing the chance of plaque deposits on the teeth
• EPA and DHA fatty acids support the skin and coat in cases of dermatosis and hair loss
• Supports urine dilution and larger urinary volume to ensure regular bladder wash out and help prevent struvite and calcium oxalate stone formation
• Features controlled levels of sodium, magnesium and calcium

Indications  may be prescribed to nutritionally manage:

• Daily oral hygiene in dogs under 10kg
• Limits the development of dental plaque and tartar
• Helps fight bad breath

Contraindications:

• Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
• Cardiac Disease (when sodium restriction is sought)
• Gestation, lactation, growth

Composition

Rice, dehydrated poultry protein, maize, animal fats, wheat gluten**, chicory pulp, vegetable fibres, minerals, hydrolysed animal proteins, fish oil, yeasts products, fructo-oligosaccharides, soya oil, butyric acid salt, marigold extract (source of lutein).
