Royal Canin Vet Care Feline Dental Dry Cat Food

• Prescribed by veterinarians for the nutritional management of cats with dental concerns or a tendency for dental problems
• The diet is recommended for cats prone to developing tartar or after teeth have been scaled
• Sodium polyphosphates bind salivary calcium which effectively reduces tartar formation
• The unique shape and size of the kibble works is designed to rub against the teeth to help reduce plaque and tartar build-up
• Assists in the prevention of urinary crystals through urine dilution
• Helps to maintain a healthy digestive system
• Contains psyllium and dietary fibres to facilitate the elimination of hairballs in stools
• S/O Index – promotes a urinary environment unfavourable for struvite and calcium oxalate urolith development

Indications  may be prescribed to nutritionally manage:

• Daily oral hygiene in adult cats
• Limiting the development of dental plaque and tartar
• Halitosis (bad breath)

Contraindications:

• Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
• Cardiac Disease (when sodium restriction is sought)
• Gestation, lactation, and growth

Wheat gluten*, dehydrated poultry protein, maize, rice, animal fats, wheat flour, vegetable fibres, maize flour, beet pulp, minerals, hydrolysed animal proteins, fish oil, fructo-oligo-saccharides, psyllium husks and seeds (0.50%), soya oil, hydrolysed yeast (source of manno-oligo-saccharides), marigold extract (source of lutein)

Cats favourite biscuits

He now has nice clean white tartar free  teeth and has also lost weight so he is now taut trim and terrific with much more energy. I fully recommend these biscuits for an active mature cat.(5)

By: Colleen Stacey on 30 October 2015We put our cat, Minx, on these pellets since she was a young adult.  She has never tired of eating them (which she does with other pellets that we purchase from time to time to give her some variety) .  She is almost 10 years old now and her teeth are very strong and clean – thanks to these pellets!  It’s good to hear her crunch-crunching these pellets because we know that they are cleaning her teeth and, as well, making her jaws strong.  They are a good filler for her along with her meat diet and she has never put on any excess weight from eating them.(5)
